Back in the Saddle Again-Sort Of

Hello, Friendly Readers (The few of you that remain)! Sorry for the major M.I.A. Unfortunately, I've been dealing with some health issues, and my photography has taken a back seat in the ol' priority list (You already knew this). As the weather turns nicer--this is the part where I close my eyes and pretend it's not pouring rain outside my window--I hope to get this thing up and running again. 

Until then, I'll give you a quick view of some pictures I took of my lil' bro. He's pretty great. Like, really great. He's been a trooper and has agreed to help me out with one of my endeavors/projects/crazy ideas. I will post more information as it unfolds. For now, just know that I love this guy. He is bright. And friendly. And deep. And fantastically hilarious. And knows more about music than anyone I know. He is my one and only brother. Love you, bud! And for my readers, I'll be back. I promise...hopefully sooner than later this go around. Cheers. 

Boy-Zee Shoot

I spent the past weekend in Boise, Idaho (or as out-of-towners say, "Boy-zee"). *Side note: My husband will correct you if he hears you say "Boyzee" instead of "Boy-Cee." He's a native, and assures me that "There is NO "Z" in "Boise!" Whoosh. Glad I got that off my chest. As I was saying, I was able to spend a few days with two incredible photographers--Nicole of Nicole Klingler Photography and Cassie of Pink Paisley Photography. They arranged a glamour/high fashion extravaganza and invited me to tag along. I was in awe at the amount of planning and work these girls put into this thing! There. Aren't. Words. Really. I learned a ton and yet feel like I haven't even skimmed the surface. Oh, and I have an entire new list of photography "needs!" Thanks to all the models who braved the frigid Boise temps to look beautiful for the shoots! And a HUGE thanks to Nicole for inviting me to come and putting everything together. Here is a small preview of what the weekend looked like ("small" being the key word).
